A beach perhaps not so crowded is Faturena. To visit it, follow the main axis from Hivadolimni and where you meet Ag. Marina you go down the dirt road towards the sea. There you will find a quiet and clear blue beach with a view of the entire port. Near it is also the "Rivari" lagoon.

Just a mile away from beautiful Kimolos is Polyaigos, another idyllic spot worth exploring. Its wild beauty, its enchanting landscapes and its lacy coasts are the elements that give Polyaigo a special color and attract a large number of visitors every year. It is the largest uninhabited island in the Mediterranean. It probably got its name because of the use of the island as a pasture for goats.

Plathiena is a beach in the north of Milos, in a bay that is somehow protected from the frequent meltemi. It is very close to Plaka (2km) and you can see it from the big church in the center of the capital. Access is very easy, go from the main road. In front of this beach, in the sea, is the famous bear-rabbit shape of Milos, a rock that looks like both a bear and a rabbit, depending on the angle. The beach is sandy, with shallow water and some low trees on the sand. In summer there is a bar that offers drinks, meals and a few sunbeds and umbrellas.

Beautiful and quiet sandy beach in the picturesque harbor surrounded by rocks. Agios Konstantinos, which takes its name from the homonymous church of the Saint, is a beach with turquoise waters, closed like a lake, with white sand and several wires (buildings at the edge of the sea, where fishermen keep their boats). It also has two small caves, always ready for exploration. You will get there by following the road to Pollonia. On your left you will come across a small detour that leads to the small and quiet seaside settlement of Agios Konstantinos.

Very close to the small port of Agios Konstantinos, in the northern part of the island, is Alogomantra. A small and beautiful beach surrendered to the "embrace" of an impressive rock that forms a natural cavity. With a semi-cave-like appearance, the beach with its fine golden sand and blue-green, shallow Aegean waters is suitable for enjoyable long swims away from everyone. The beach does not have any organization, so if you choose it, it is a good idea to stock up on the essentials for your day at the beach.

Kapros is located in the northern part of Milos and has a narrow beach of rare beauty that looks like a swimming pool. It is located in one of the many small bays that form the rocks in this area in parallel, at the end it has a natural stone bridge which is a challenge for diving. You need to be careful to find it since you have to turn just before Papafraga. The water is clean and the surrounding nature has little vegetation so you will not find natural shade.

Pollonia is a picturesque fishing village on the northeastern tip of Milos. The main beach of Pollonia is located in a small, sheltered bay, very close to most accommodation, taverns, children's playground, mini market, bakery, taxi and bus stop and retail shops. There is an additional, long sandy beach on the south-eastern part of Pollonia, with a convenient beach bar operating on the southernmost side of the beach during the summer season. The dense tamarisk trees, which frame the beach like an emerald necklace combined with the soft golden sand and a quiet, crystal clear sea create an amazing atmosphere of calmness, comfort and peace. That is why there are many families with small children who love its shallow waters and sand.

Kleftiko is located at the southwest end of Milos and is only accessible by sea. Its name came from the pirates, as in the past this place was used both as a refuge and as their base, since the small coves protected the ships and themselves from the strong winds of the Aegean.

Gerakas Bay, on the south coast of Milos, has emerald waters and is surrounded by magnificent natural white rocks. The area is famous for its massive sandslides caused by perlite and is only accessible by boat. Its waters have the most vivid turquoise color you have ever seen. The beach of Gerakas, with its wonderfully clear waters and huge volcanic rocks, is also characterized as the "Hawaii of Milos" beach. Due to the volcano of Agia Kyriaki located directly above, hot water gushes out in the beach cave.

Gerontas is another beach of Milos located in the southwest part of the island. It is recommended to visit it by boat because the road is quite difficult and you will need to walk as it is under the quarry of the area. It is a small bay with tall white cliffs all around and a natural bridge connecting sea and land to its right.

Ammoudaraki is a small and quiet beach with fine golden sand and crystal clear waters. It is located in the western part of Milos, very close to Triades. One can reach it via a rough dirt road that passes by the monastery of Agios Ioannis siderianos. The beach is isolated, without any organization and without trees to offer natural shade. It is surrounded by small rocks that make the landscape even more impressive. Ammoudaraki beach is ideal for those who are looking for unspoiled beaches with few people but at the same time, they are lovers of adventure since it will be quite difficult to get here.

The Triades are actually three beaches. Three neighboring sandy coves separated by rocks. The sand is fine and soft, but the sea deepens rapidly around the shore. They are located in the northwestern part of Milos and are one of the most isolated beaches of the island. The reason is the difficult access by car. The first beach usually has more bathers, the others can be visited on foot or by swimming.

On the west side of Milos and to the south is the cave of Sykia. Access is only from the sea. If your boat is small you can go in, otherwise you will need to tie up outside and swim. Many years ago the cave had a roof which apparently fell from an earthquake. It got its name from a fig tree that is near the roof opening. Swim in its deep blue-green waters and enjoy its natural beauty.
